Scouting Services

rainbowElite Outfitters offers a scouting service for big-game hunting in New Mexico. You can put the years of Elite’s hunting experience to work for you before your next southwestern big-game hunt. If you have drawn a tag for any species in New Mexico, Elite will send one of it’s licensed guides to whatever area you choose and he will personally scout the area. Elite’s professional guides will tailor the duration and type of scouting to your species and hunt specifications. Elite charges a base fee to conduct the scouting trip plus a daily guide fee. Scouting trips can be arranged from one day to ten days depending on the requirements of your hunt.
sceneryThink about it. If you draw a tag in an area you have never hunted or possibly even been to, what do you do now? Can you dedicate 2 weeks of vacation time to do the research necessary to have a well-planned, successful hunt? Only so much research can be done from your home. At some point, someone must scout the area in person. Most hunters don’t have time to visit their hunting area during the summer months, figure out the logistics of the hunt, scout miles upon miles of terrain, and still have two additional weeks of vacation time left to dedicate to the actual hunt. The summer is the only time when serious scouting can be accomplished without risking disturbing game for the actual season. There is only so much you can accomplish in a couple of days before the season opens. Who better to have do the scouting than a professional western guide? Elite’s guides are the best in the industry. Let them personally visit the hunting areas and determine the best plan to fulfill your dream hunt. You will have a major advantage over other hunters by going into your hunt with knowledge. When you arrive two days before your hunt, you will already have a plan and not be starting your scouting from ground zero.

Elite will only book a limited number of scouting trips per summer. You determine when you want the scouting trip to be conducted and exclusive dates will be reserved. Should you wish to join Elite on the trip, you are more than welcome.

Confidentiality regarding your hunting locations will be maintained to your satisfaction.
